Ring of Honor today announced that Kenny Omega will be in action at their Supercard of Honor shows on April 7, 2018 in New Orleans. He’ll be joining current IWGP Intercontinental champion Hiroshi Tanahashi as the first two names announced for the card. No matches weer announced.
Omega has been working more dates with with Ring of Honor this year. He just completed the Global Wars tour with the promotion, defeating YOSHI-HASHI to retain the IWGP United States championship.
Supercard of Honor is one of ROH’s bigger cards of the year, drawing 3,500 people at the Lakeland Center in Lakeland, Florida last year. That show was headlined by The Young Bucks defeating ROH tag team champions the Hardys in a ladder match for the titles.
The Hardys returned to WWE the next night at WrestleMania 33, defeating Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, Cesaro and Sheamus and Enzo Amore and Big Cass to win the Raw tag team titles.
Other big matches from last year's card include Christopher Daniels defeating Dalton Castle to retain the ROH World title, Volador Jr. and Will Ospreay defeating Dragon Lee and Jay White and Marty Scurll beating Adam Cole to retain the ROH World TV Title.
