Kenny Omega Welcomes Eddie Kingston To Fight The Good Fight With The Elite After 6/14 AEW Dynamite

Kenny Omega tried to reach out to a new potential ally.

The Elite (Hangman Page, Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, and Nick Jackson) have been feuding with Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta) in recent months. Meanwhile, after Eddie Kingston "quit" AEW, he had been engaged in a rivalry with Castagnoli in ROH before he was sidelined with an injury. Kingston returned in the closing moments of the June 14 episode of AEW Dynamite, as he somewhat made the save when the Blackpool Combat Club attacked The Elite.

"Eddie, I’m talking to you. That’s right. No, it’s not what you think. I don’t want to fight you. In fact, we can both use as many friends as we can get. Before you get the idea. I’m not saying we’re gonna share a note. I’m not saying we’re gonna share a Coke Zero. But if you want a place in this ring with The Elite, if you want to fight the good fight against those guys back there, against those guys across the sea in Japan, then you’ve got a home in AEW with us. It seems like the more time goes by, the more I’m picking myself up to to tell you guys some kind of happy story to close off the night with. The only happy story I’ve got right now is that it isn’t over. We’ve still got Rampage. I’ve still got a visit to the hospital. But you’ve still got all of us, and week by week, day by day, the people that want to spread the message that wrestling is a beautiful place, and that we will take on the world’s best, no matter where they come from," Omega said.

As Omega was talking, Kingston got into the ring and stood across from The Elite, but he didn't say anything.
