Kevin Nash Claims The Rock Couldn't Show Up To WrestleMania 41 Due To His Martin Scorsese Film Obligations

The Rock was not at WrestleMania 41.

Despite asking for Cody Rhodes' soul ahead of WWE Elimination Chamber and giving the signal for John Cena to turn on Rhodes at WWE Elimination Chamber, The Rock was not part of WrestleMania 41 or the events leading up to the event.

According to Kevin Nash gave his theory as to why on Kliq This.

"Rock couldn't show up because Rock was filming a fucking Scorsese film. The last time Rock fucking showed up, right before Hercules, he tore his fucking bone off his pelvis and cost production $10 million. No, Rock can say whatever he wants, 'I didn't want to fuck up Cena's moment,' he didn't have the option. Scorsese was not going to let him. Fuck off. No. I think they're shooting in Hawaii. I might be wrong, but put it this way, if they're not shooting, they're definitely in pre-(production). Whoever is ensuring that note ain't gonna let Rock bounce around the ring," said Nash.

The Rock suffered an injury at WrestleMania 29 that caused a delay in "Hercules" shooting.

The Rock is signed on for Scorsese's untitled crime boss movie alongside Emily Blunt and Leonardo DiCaprio.
