Kevin Nash: If You're Going To Put Somebody Like Triple H In WWE Hall Of Fame, He's The Only One That Goes In

Triple H headlined the WWE Hall of Fame 2025 class over WrestleMania 41 weekend. The Hall of Fame ceremony didn't start until 1 a.m. ET and went over two hours with Triple H's speech clocking in at over an hour.

Other inductees included Michelle McCool, Lex Luger, The Natural Disasters (Earthquake & Typhoon), and Steve Austin vs. Bret Hart at WrestleMania 13 as the Immortal Moment.

Speaking on his Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash commented on his longtime friend headlining the Hall of Fame.

"My whole thing was this; if you're going to put somebody like Triple H in the Hall of Fame, he's the only one that goes in. You can put the other people in that are packages, but you can't have people going up there. It's a special night for everybody and everybody wants to tell their story. I don't know Michelle [McCool], and that was an era where I wasn't watching their program, so I wasn't aware of her contributions. That was, from a fan standpoint, I thought she had a great speech. Dallas [Diamond Dallas Page] opened it up and was short and crisp. Lex was short and sweet. It's so hard because there are a lot of boys and ladies in the past that deserve a spot in the Hall of Fame and you're going to have to pick four or five people in the past to throw in and people are obviously going to be looked aside. When you get somebody like Paul Levesque that will go in, he's a 14-time World Champion, his career alone is gigantic, one of the top ten of all time and I think one of the top four all-time in making people look better (in the ring) and taking somebody out there and he always could get the best match he could out of what he got that night. We all love the business, but he had a different view and vision of the business. It was nice to hear his vision. I was a part of a lot of it, but I wasn't. A lot of people are like, 'Jesus guys, Paul went an hour.' Fuck, I was absolutely enthralled. One of my best friends on earth and I didn't know a lot of pieces of that story. You gotta tell what you need to about the relationship with Vince and how he doesn't stand in front of us right now if that relationship doesn't become part of his life," said Nash.

Lex Luger commented that he missed the Saturday festivities at WrestleMania 41 due to how he was feeling after a late night at the Hall of Fame on Friday. You can find his comments here.

Elsewhere during the podcast, Nash gave his theory on The Rock missing WrestleMania 41. You can find his claims here.
