Kevin Nash: WWE Brought The nWo In Under The Guise Of, 'This Isn't Gonna Work Twice'

Kevin Nash talks about the run of the New World Order in WWE.

Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Hulk Hogan returned to WWE in 2002 as part of the New World Order. Ultimately, the WWE run of the nWo is not looked at favorably and featured everything from Ric Flair leading the group in a pseudo way for a little while and eventually Shawn Michaels joining the group as part of his 2002 return.

In the "Who Killed WCW?" documentary on VICE, Kevin Nash talked about the failed run being doomed from the jump and how it all took a toll on Scott Hall's sobriety,

"They were gonna write the history that they wanted to create. No matter how you looked at it, we were the Confederate soldiers going to work for the Union. You thought that you were gonna go over one of their top guys? Bullshit. They brought us in under the guise of, 'This isn't gonna work twice.' I looked at Scott, and I said, 'We're gone. We're done. We're dead.'

"I get to have the wonderful experience to watch my friend, who now has been sober for 11 months, go downstairs and just start pounding drinks, and he's like,'Fuck it.' Talk about a miserable day in my life."
