Kevin Owens On Cody Rhodes Losing At WrestleMania 39: We Did Our Best To Make Things Right

Cody Rhodes failed to finish the story at WrestleMania 39, losing to Roman Reigns in the main event and failing to capture the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

The match was littered with interference as the Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) got involved, though they were run off by Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn.

Appearing on the TODAY Show, Owens and Zayn were asked what their message to fans would be about the outcome.

"We did our best to make things right. We kept the Usos, they didn't belong in that match, we made sure that they didn't have too big of an impact on everything that happened. It went the way it was. I tried," Owens said.

While Owens & Zayn took out the Usos, Solo Sikoa was there to clean things up and help Roman retain in the main event.

Owens & Zayn were victorious at night one of WrestleMania 39, winning the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles from the Usos.
