Hell hath no fury like Kevin Owens scorned.
Kevin Owens previously turned on Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes following WWE Bad Blood. Randy Orton later got involved with the situation and sided with Rhodes. Owens then attacked Orton backstage on the October 11th episode of WWE SmackDown. He said that he did not know when he could return to WWE, but Triple H agreed to book a match between Orton and Owens at WWE Crown Jewel.
At WWE Crown Jewel Kickoff, Randy Orton came out and discussed his upcoming match against Kevin Owens. Owens crashed the show and confronted him.
“You know, Randy, the only voices in your head, what they should be saying is that you’re a disgusting human being. You should be ashamed of yourself. You think these people love you? I loved you. I would have never done what you did to me, to you. I thought what we had was real special, and on Saturday night, I’m putting down RKO for good," Owens said.
Owens then threw the microphone at Orton. Orton sent a final message by saying that he would whoop Owens’ ass At WWE Crown Jewel.
