Kevin Owens appeared on the December 20th episode of WWE SmackDown, still holding the Winged Eagle Championship that he took at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event.
Owens said that he had the title because he deserved it, and it was a travesty what happened against Cody Rhodes.
Owens said that he hasn't snapped yet, and they don't want him to snap. He said it can all get so much worse and that they don't want him to snap. He closed by saying that what happens next is on Cody, Nick Aldis, and WWE officials.

Cody defeated Owens at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event, retaining the Undisputed WWE Championship. Owens attacked Rhodes after the match, laying him out with a package piledriver. Rhodes was take out of the arena on a stretcher.
