More than two decades removed from his retirement as a wrestler, Kevin Von Erich is planning to return to the ring for one final match.
Von Erich broke the news during an exclusive interview with Ynet, telling the media outlet that the match will take place in Israel.
"I first came in 1985...and I just loved it here. The people were so warm. I just lost a brother a few months before that and maybe it was that that had an impact on me,” he said. “I wanted my sons to see it so much that I...I think I just decide to do what I can to have one more match," he said. "I love Israel. I’m a Christian. I love Jesus and my sons are the same way and this is the holy land."
The last surviving son of Fritz Von Erich, Kevin Von Erich and the rest of his family were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009. Von Erich had four other brothers who wrestled -- most notably Kerry Von Erich, a former NWA World Heavyweight Champion and WWE Intercontinental Champion. Three of Kevin's brothers, including Kerry, committed suicide.
Kevin has made a handful of other appearances on WWE programming -- giving Rob Conway the Von Erich iron claw during the Raw Homecoming episode in the fall of 2005 -- and inducting the Fabulous Freebirds into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2016. Two of Kevin Von Erich's sons, Ross and Marshall, also have wrestled professionally.
