Kofi Kingston is excited to celebrate but says they have a lot more work to do.
In recent weeks, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have been discussing the New Day's 10th anniversary, which will be celebrated on the December 2 episode of WWE Raw. The looming celebration has led to fans reflecting on the group's journey up to this point and their success.
In an interview with Alistair McGeorge of Metro, Kofi Kingston discussed the New Day's anniversary and noted that he was appreciative of the bond that he was with Xavier Woods and Big E. He also noted that while he was excited to celebrate their anniversary, they had more work to do.
"It’s pretty incredible to have had that level of impact on the industry. I actually sent Woods a text this morning about how appreciative I was of him, of being my tag team partner. I never lose sight of how rare and special our bond is. WWE right now is the hottest it’s been in so long. The whole anniversary, we’re really excited to celebrate it, but at the same time, we got a lot more work to do," Kingston said.
