Kota Ibushi Says That He's Still Rehabbing His Ankle Injury

Kota Ibushi is still rehabbing his ankle.

The 'Golden Star' took to social media on Monday, June 17 to provide a small update on his ankle injury. In the post, Ibushi noted that the hospital is continuing rehabilitation on his ankle.

"Discomfort in left ankle. My inner ankle? I wonder if there is a way to fix this in the shortest amount of time! I wonder if there is a way to fix this in the shortest amount of time. I went to quite a few places. (Hospital is continuing rehabilitation). Can anyone help me?"

Ibushi underwent surgery on the ankle on January 17, 2024. He was diagnosed with a right tibiofibular ligament tear and a right ankle lateral ligament injury by Pro Wrestling NOAH after competing against Naomichi Marufuji at NOAH The New Year earlier that month.

Kota Ibushi signed with All Elite Wrestling in November 2023 after wrestling alongside Kenny Omega, Paul Wight, and Chris Jericho in a Street Fight against Brian Cage, Konosuke Takeshita, Kyle Fletcher, and Powerhouse Hobbs.
