Kris Statlander says it is time for her to be great.
At AEW World's End on December 28th, Kris Statlander once again challenged TBS Champion Mercedes Mone for the gold following their first singles encounter back at AEW Full Gear. The second bout would become the first AEW Women's match to last longer than 20 minutes, making it the longest women's match in AEW's history after Mone was able to score the pinfall victory in the bout.
While speaking in a digital exclusive posted to AEW's social media, Statlander noted that she's been good for a long time now and that it is time for her to go be great.
"Is it worth having an incredible match if I don't win? Is it worth having a classic, two classics, if I lose both of them? I've been good for a long time now. It's time I go be great."
