It pays to learn from Ric Flair.
On the February 8 edition of Monday Night Raw, Ric Flair addressed the WWE ThunderDome, revealing that his relationship with Lacey Evans is one of a professional nature and the reason he is choosing to train Evans is because he doesn't want to take orders from any woman, especially not his daughter.
Flair would say that his daughter told him to go home but he doesn't want to go home and even if she doesn't need him, he needs to be Ric Flair. Ric Flair would then put over his daughter as he has in the past and say that she is the greatest female wrestler of all time but he is going to Train Lacey Evans to be just as good because she has all of the qualities necessary.
Ric Flair would then say that Lacey Evans wants to become the next WWE Raw Women's Champion.

Charlotte Flair came out to interrupt and say that she has never said she didn't want the help of Ric Flair, she just doesn't want Ric Flair dragging down his own legacy, a legacy that she is fighting hard to not only preserve but enhance.
All of this would lead to a match between Lacey Evans and Charlotte Flair, which would see Lacey Evans get the win by DQ after Flair lost her cool. Per WWE management speaking with Ric Flair, Lacey Evans is now the number one contender for the WWE Raw Women's Championship, commentary was suspicious of the authenticity of this claim.

Last week, Asuka, the current WWE Raw Women's Champion, was defeated in a tag team match by Naomi. Asuka must also concern herself with Bianca Belair who won the women's Royal Rumble match and as such, has the right to challenge any WWE Women's Champion of her choosing.
