Fresh off of her historic title win in the main event of WrestleMania 35, Becky Lynch engaged in a feud with the self-proclaimed "Lady Of WWE" Lacey Evans. Becky and Lacey had championship matches at the Money In The Bank and Extreme Rules pay-per-views. The stipulation going into their mixed tag team match at Extreme Rules was that if Lacey and her partner Baron Corbin lost, they could no longer challenge Becky Lynch or Seth Rollins for their respective titles as long as they were champions.
Lacey has been out of the mix since that loss but she recently spoke with SunSport for an exclusive interview and when asked for her thoughts about "The Man", Lacey stated that Becky is one "tough broad".
“She’s a tough broad, I’ll give her that. But do I think she has what it takes to be United States Marines? No, I don’t. I think this is more her style – she’s a superstar. In the Marine Core you’re not. You’re working as a team. But who knows? It’s three months of boot camp. I’m sure she’d give it hell trying.” Lacey said of Becky Lynchh.
