Lana is not only back on WWE TV, she has an opportunity to win her first title, and she is fully confident she will win.
Appearing on Talking Smack right after SmackDown Live went off the air on June 6, Lana said she is excited to fight Naomi for the SmackDown Women's Title. She also acknowledged that a lot of people have little faith in her, but also added that she's been proving doubters wrong her entire life and is confident she will do the same to everyone in the WWE Universe, including Talking Smack hosts Renee Young and SmackDown Commissioner Shane McMahon.
"This is the land of opportunity," Lana said. "I'm going to prove you wrong. My entire life, there has been doubters. I used to live in a small, pathetic village in Russia. Yes, I said pathetic because there are 10,000 people living in that village and l was told would never be anything, that I would never leave my village and I crossed the ocean and look at me now. Look at me, the most ravishing WWE superstar of all time. For people to doubt me, people have said many times throughout my life that I will never be anything, that I'm not athletic, that I'm not this, that I'll never be a star, now look at me. I believe in myself and to be honest and I know will prove you wrong. will prove all my doubters wrong. Trust me, I know have a lot of doubters m going to tell you that I am the most ravishing WWE superstar of all time, ever. And so I'm going to be the first champion of all time: the first Women's WWE Ravishing Champion."
Lana has her title shot against Naomi at the SmackDown Live-exclusive pay-per-view Money in the Bank, which will take place on June 18 in St. Louis, Missouri. Fightful will have complete coverage of the pay-per-view, including a live podcast after the show.
