Myla Grace Reflects On Working Giulia's Gauntlet In Marigold, Says Giulia Was 'So Helpful'

Myla Grace reflects on getting the chance to work with Giulia before she left for NXT.

Last year, Myla Grace spent 8 months on excursion with Marigold in Japan, competing in a ranage of matches. One match she partook in was Giulia's final match in the promotion, which would be a gauntlet match featuring the roster.

In a new interview with Fightful's Corey Brennan, Myla reflected on working the gauntlet match and training alongside Giulia during her time in Marigold.

"Oh my God, it was so cool. Giulia was so helpful. Like when she was out for those couple of months injured, she came to every show and she was always there backstage offering feedback and advice. She was so, so supportive. Then when she had that gauntlet match, like that was so special for her to do. Like she really wanted to get in with every single one of us. Even though it was a short time, period of time, but I was like, right, I've got, I don't know if it was like 20 seconds or and I was like, I'm gonna make sure every single second counts. I was just so fired up. I remember before, I think I got a bit teary-eyed before because I was like, this is flipping Giulia! I was like, so fired up. I think you can tell in the match, the whole way through, I'm like screaming. But yeah it was um yeah it was really really special I just wish that I could have had more time in the ring with her, but, I'm so grateful for the time I did get with her."

Giulia would go on to debut for NXT at No Mercy, and is now the current NXT Women's Champion.

Grace is now back based in Europe, and also hopes to wrestle in the States this year.
