Lance Archer Dresses As Old School Brodie Lee (Luke Harper), Jake Roberts Gets Physical On AEW Dynamite

AEW Dynamite paid tribute to the life and career of Jon Huber (Brodie Lee in AEW, Luke Harper in WWE) and there were plenty of Brodie references in the second bout of the night.

In six-man tag team action, Lance Archer teamed with Evil Uno and Stu Grayson to take on Eddie Kingston, The Butcher, and The Blade. The tributes to Brodie started early as Archer donned a wife beater and jeans, the same gear Brodie wore on the Independent scene and as Luke Harper in AEW.

Eddie Kingston came out in a Notre Dame jersey, which definitely popped Big E, who revealed earlier this week that Brodie "used to tell people he played offensive tackle at Notre Dame & blocked for Tony Rice in the ‘80s. Just to pop himself. And me."

The match itself featured a half-and-half suplex, All Japan striking, using the tag partner as a weapon, a Brodie Bossman slam, and more nods to Brodie as Dark Order and Archer picked up the victory.

After the bout, Jake Roberts got in on the action, hitting Kingston with a short arm clothesline.
