IMPACT says goodbye to LAX.
At tonight's IMPACT television tapings in Mexico, LAX (Santana & Ortiz) competed in what would seem to be their final match in IMPACT Wrestling against Willie Mack & Rich Swann. After the match, members of the IMPACT locker room entered the ring, embracing LAX as the crowd gave them a standing ovation. The scene ended with LAX posing with Konnan as the crowd continued to cheer.

Reports suggested that Slammiversary would be the last time fans would see LAX in an IMPACT ring, but that wasn't the case as the former Tag Team Champions worked the TV tapings in Mexico. Their contracts with IMPACT expire in the summer, though no date was given. They reportedly have offers on the table from AEW and WWE.
Fightful will have full results from the Aug. 16 IMPACT TV tapings in Mexico when they are available.
