Lee Moriarty Discusses Joining Shane Taylor Promotions, Wants To Reach The Next Level Of Success

Lee Moriarty wants to reach the next level, and he is confident that Shane Taylor can help him do that.

Lee Moriarty joined forces with Shane Taylor on the September 14 episode of ROH on HonorClub. In doing so, he became a member of Shane Taylor Promotions, a stable that has previously held both the ROH World Television Championship and the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship.

Speaking with Wrestle Inn, Moriarty was asked to describe what he hopes to accomplish under Taylor's tutelage.

"I joined Shane Taylor Promotions because I respect Shane’s work ethic and commitment for success. He’s a former ROH Television and Six-Man Tag Team Champion. I don’t see myself as being under Shane’s tutelage necessarily, but I do think there’s things he can help me with and vice versa. As for what I want to accomplish, I want to reach and sustain being on the next level of success within AEW and ROH," Moriarty said.

Moriarty was also asked to name someone who he would add as a third man to team up with in order to challenge for the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship. Moriarty responded by naming Lee Johnson. He also teased that Keith Lee could be an option if Lee and Taylor agreed to fight together.

"I think there are a few options out there that could work well. The first name that comes to mind is 'Big Shotty' Lee Johnson. The invitation to join has been sent out, but we’re still waiting for a final answer. Another option could be reuniting the Pretty Boy Killers if Shane and Keith ever decide to stand on the same side again… of course, they’re still on a Collision course to fight it out (see what I did there)," Moriarty said.

During the interview, Moriarty also commented on Will Ospreay signing with AEW. Click here to see what he had to say.
