Lio Rush is feeling great about the current state of his career.
Fresh off his near month long stay in Japan for NJPW's Best Of The Super Juniors tournament, Lio Rush is currently enjoying his first run in IMPACT Wrestling. Rush has already been placed at a high position in the company, as he is set to challenge Chris Sabin for the X-Division Championship at the upcoming Slammiversary pay-per-view.
In recent years, Rush has struggled with various mental health and injury issues, both of which have led to him missing time from the business.
In a new interview with WrestleZone, Rush talked about his current state and how he feels like he's at his best right now.
“Now that I am here and now that I am staying here, I do feel like I’m at my best. I feel like I’m slowly creeping into my prime, it definitely feels like this is the right place and right time type of situation. I’ve never felt more clear headed, I’ve never felt more calm, poise. I’ve never felt more healthy, physically. I feel great, I really do. I'm fully ready for any and everything that comes my way because I will be prepared.”
