Lio Rush Returns To AEW On 9/29 AEW Dynamite

Lio Rush is All Elite.

Lio Rush returned to AEW on Wednesday's Dynamite with a new vignette explaining his business style. Lio explained that he is LBO Lio with LBO standing for Leverage Buy Out. He borrows money against companies that needs guidance and he is the capital. He makes profits to pay off loans to make sure everyone is straight.

"It works, I promise you," said Lio.

Lio has officially signed with AEW, getting the All Elite graphic.

On June 8, Lio announced it was time for him to retire from wrestling. He suffered an AC injury in the Casino Battle Royale at AEW Double or Nothing On June 10, Rush posted a statement on social media before his AC procedure to address the issues that led to his retirement, saying that he was fulfilled and his professional wrestling career and was happy to be moving on to be a better father and husband and pursue other passions.

Tony Khan tweeted on September 9 that he had been talking to Lio about a return.

Following AEW Double or Nothing, Tony Khan said that he had a handshake deal with Rush and that Rush wanted to keep working with AEW. Rush is also signed to NJPW.
