The men's Royal Rumble headlined WWE Royal Rumble 2024 and with far less than 30 entrants announced for the match, there are expected to be surprises.

- Andrade returned to WWE at the number 4 entry spot.
- NXT's Carmelo Hayes entered the Royal Rumble at number 5.
- NXT's Bron Breakker entered his first Royal Rumble match at the number 20 position.
- Pat McAfee entered at number 22 and then promptly eliminated himself.
- Sami Zayn returns to action as the #30 entrant in the Royal Rumble. He was injured on TV by Drew McIntyre on the December 4 episode of Monday Night Raw. Zayn did work the WWE Holiday Tour in late December, however.
