Liv Morgan discusses her journey to the Women's World Championship.
Liv Morgan had a roller coaster journey to capturing the Women's World Championship from Becky Lynch at WWE King and Queen of the Ring. While this wasn't her first WWE Women's Title, she is currently one of the top stars on WWE Raw, regularly bookending weekly television episodes.
Speaking with Jim Varsallone, Morgan credited her belief in herself with helping her get to the top despite the many times she had to hear the word "no" on her journey.
"I think everyone's story is different. I think everyone arrives differently. Everyone has a different journey to the championship. Mine. My journey was full of nos and weird left turns. I think I've done it with just consistent hard work and belief in myself. That's so cheesy and cliche, I know. But I was unwavering in my belief that one day I would make it here and have this [championship belt], so I just kept pushing. I just kept pushing. I kept improving. I kept trying to be the best that I could possibly be until it was my time, and now is my time.
Morgan's greatest challenge will come at WWE SummerSlam when she faces Rhea Ripley for the Women's World Title, which Ripley never officially lost.
