Luchasaurus captures singles gold for the first time in AEW.
Luchasaurus defeated Wardlow on the debut episode of AEW Saturday Collision to capture the AEW TNT Title and become a single Champion for the first time in his All Elite Wrestling career.
An extension of the existing feud between Wardlow and Christian Cage, Luchasaurus was able to win the championship by using nefarious means and Christian's help. Wardlow had Luchasaurus in position for the Powerbomb Symphony in the final moments of the inaugural AEW Collision match when Cage distracted him. Luchasaurus hit a Chokeslam for a two count. Wardlow persists, but ultimately, Cage distracts him again, and this time he strikes the defending champion with a camera. Luchasaurus then scored the pin and the win.
Christian Cage failed to distract Wardlow.
