Luke Harper and Erick Rowan Return To WWE SmackDown Live As The Bludgeon Brothers

After months of waiting, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan finally returned to SmackDown Live.

The former Wyatt family members are now the Bludgeon Brothers, complete with hammers that even Triple H would be jealous of. The tag division on SmackDown is in the middle of an overhaul now that The Usos and The New Day settled their rivalry at Hell in a Cell.

Earlier in the night, Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin solidified their spot as the top contenders to the Smackdown Tag Team Titles by winning a fatal four-way match against Breezango, The Ascension, and The Hype Bros.

It probably won’t take the newly minted Bludgeon Brothers long to make their presence felt. While the Usos wanted everyone else to get to the back of the line, tell that to two men swinging large hammers may not go over so well.

The reuniting of Harper and Rowan may come as a bit of a shock given that the last time we saw each man, they were on opposing sides. Harper escaped the trances of former leader Bray Wyatt and defeated Rowan at Backlash in May.

Harper and Rowan have had limited success as a tag team in WWE, but they are former NXT tag team champions and two of the nastiest competitors to step foot in the ring.
