Luke Jacobs sends a message to not just the UK but all of Europe.
At Progress: Wrestling Never Sleeps in the main event, Jacobs would defend his Progress World Championship for the first time as he took on former champion Kid Lykos in an incredibly physical matchup. In the end, Jacobs was able to put down the "Prince of Progress" for the three count to retain his championship.
In a promo recorded following his successful title defense, Luke noted that he couldn't be prouder of his performances in the ring, and that he has brought more talent to the surface than all of Europe.
"Kid Lykos managed to last more than ten minutes this time, but he just still couldn't get the job done in the end. Luke Jacobs remains Progress World Champion. I couldn't be prouder of my performances in that ring every single month. The talent that I have brought to the surface is unrivaled, not just in the UK, but all of Europe. Progress is in the era of North West Strong, and it's gonna stay that way for a very, very long time."
