Lyra Valkyria wants to face a familiar opponent.
Since WWE announced an official partnership with TNA, fans have buzzed about dream matches between stars from the two companies. The possibilities are seemingly endless, especially after Joe Hendry competed in the Men's Royal Rumble.
Speaking with Sam Roberts for Notsam Wrestling, WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria was asked about WWE's partnership with TNA and whether there was anyone that she wanted to face.
“Yeah, Dani Luna, she’s incredible. Give me Dani Luna. I’d love to fight her," Valkyria said.
Luna previously had a run in WWE as a member of the NXT UK roster. She announced her departure from the company in August 2022, following the end of NXT UK. During her time in NXT, she faced Valkyria in October 2020.
Luna currently holds the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship with Jody Threat. They are collectively known as Spitfire.
