WWE holding live television tapings from MSG.
For the first time in ten years, WWE will hold television tapings from "The Worlds Most Famous Arena" Madison Square Garden this Fall. WWE announced their return to MSG via an unlisted fan registration video that featured the SmackDown Live Women's Champion Bayley making the announcement that RAW and SmackDown on September 9th and 10th will be held from Madison Square Garden.
This past April, Ring Of Honor and New Japan Pro-Wrestling presented their G1 Supercard show from Madison Square Garden and on September 15th, AAA will also run a show at MSG. G1 Supercard was the first non-WWE wrestling event in history to take place at MSG.
WWE ran a live event in Madison Square Garden in December of 2018 during their yearly Holiday tour heading into the Royal Rumble pay-per-view and to get a recap of that live event, check out Fightful's MSG live event "results" article.
The headlining bout of WWE's last MSG show included former RAW Women's Champion Ronda Rousey who recently released a video about how much she misses wrestling. To watch that video, click here.
