Maika has won the STARDOM 5Star Grand Prix tournament.
On August 31st, the finals of the 5Star Grand Prix tournament took place, with Maika taking on Saya Kamitani to decide the winner of the annual tournament. In a hotly contested bout between the two women, Maika would eventually come away with the victory and the tournament prize.
Maika becomes the first ever talent to end the tournament undefeated, winning nine matches in a row to claim the crown.

Earlier on in the night, Maika defeated IWGP Women's Champion Mayu Iwatani in the semi finals, earning herself a future championship match with Iwatani in the process.
Following her victory in the finals, Maika challenged new World Of Stardom Tam Nakano for September 14th in Osaka EDION #1.
