Cody Rhodes vs. Nick Aldis At NWA 70th Anniversary Now A Two Out Of Three Falls Match

Aldis versus Cody part two.

On September 1st at 'All In', Cody followed up in his Hall Of Fame father's footsteps when he became NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion by defeating Nick Aldis. Cody has promised to defend the strap all around the globe and his first title defense comes tomorrow night at the Ring Of Honor TV tapings in Las Vegas against former Lucha Underground Trios Champion Willie Mack.

If Cody emerges victorious from that bout then he will be heading into Nashville, TN on October 21st to defend the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship in a rematch against Nick Aldis. The two are set to headline the NWA's 70th Anniversary show and their match will be called by MLW commentator Tony Schiavone and former owner of 'Smokey Mountain Wrestling' Jim Cornette. The match between Cody and Aldis will not be just a regular singles match with championship gold on the line as tonight it was announced by Aldis himself during the ROH 'Death Before Dishonor XVI' PPV that he and Cody will compete in a 2-Out-Of-3 Falls match at NWA's 70th Anniversary show.
