Multiple Returns in the Copa Bardhal.
AAA hosted the 2024 edition of the Copa Bardhal, with the winner of the match earning a title shot of their choosing. Because of the ramifications of the match, multiple people returned to the promotion in this match.
Among the returns, none other than former CMLL World Heavyweight Champion Marco Corleone (previously known as Mark Jindrak in WWE) made his AAA return to the promotion after 14 years. Unfortunately for Corleone, he did not leave with the win as he was tossed out of the ring by Mr. Iguana, Zumbido, and Octagon Jr., who ended up walking out with the win.
Also on the returns, Mascarita Dorada IV and former WWE Tag Team Champion Kenzo Suzuki returned to AAA for brief cameos in the match. The finish of the match came when Octagon Jr. hit the Oz Cutter on Zumbido to pick up the pinfall win.
