Mark Briscoe failed to win the ROH Television Title at ROH Supercard of Honor as he was submitted by Samoa Joe.

One-half of the ROH Tag Team Champions alongside his late brother Jay Briscoe (Jamin Pugh), Mark was going for his first singles title in ROH. He was also looking for his first singles victory over Samoa Joe.

It wasn't meant to be through, as Mark could not overcome the reigning ROH TV Champion.

Joe did adhere to the code of honor after the match, shaking hands with Mark. Mark soaked in a standing ovation from the crowd and hugged his family who were sitting ringside.
