Mark Briscoe and Jay Lethal can no longer win the AEW Continental Classic.
On the December 6 episode of AEW Dynamite, Mark Briscoe lost to Swerve Strickland in each man's third match in the Continental Classic. Strickland pinned This was the third straight win for Strickland, and the third straight loss for Briscoe.
Later on in the night, Lethal lost to Jay White. This was Lethal's third loss in the tournament,
As a result, Briscoe and Lethal are now mathematically eliminated from winning the tournament.
And with that win, Swerve is now tied for the lead in #AEWContinentalClassic: GOLD LEAGUE!
