The Owen Hart Cup 2023 is starting soon.
At AEW Double or Nothing, Renee Paquette held the Opening Ceremony for the 2023 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. Renee was joined by Martha Hart, who introduced Tony Khan. Renee referred to Tony as "Gangsta" Tony Khan due to his hat. Martha said she wanted to see everyone in their best hats when they come to the tournament.
The tournament is set to begin in Canada during AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door weekend. The finals for the tournament are set to conclude on Saturday, July 15 at the Calgary Stampede Saddledome in Calgary, AB, Canada.
Participants for the tournament have yet to be announced.

Adam Cole won the Owen Hart Cup on the men's side while Britt Baker won the Owen Hart Cup on the women's side in 2022.
