Ever since Maryse came back to the WWE earlier this year to be with The Miz in a managerial role, there had been questions whether or not she would wrestle again.
Speaking at a recent WWE 2K17 event, The Miz addressed whether or not his wife would come back to wrestle. Credit to Channel Guide Magazine for the interview.
"The No. 1 question she is always asked is when can we see her back in the ring," The Miz said. "Time will tell. We will see what happens. She is doing so much right now. She just had a movie come out on SyFy called Isle of the Dead trending worldwide. It was really well-received. Then we have the video game, with 'WWE 2K17' coming out in October. There is so much happening right now. We’ll see what happens."
Maryse said that she is happy being a manager at the moment and said that she wants to just have fun.
"I think I’m in a good spot right now," Maryse said. "I really enjoy what I’m doing. I get to work with my husband, and we are doing pretty well together. I like being in this supportive role. Before when I was with WWE, I think I accomplished a lot. I was where I wanted to be. Now I just want to have fun."
Maryse started wrestling in 2006 and stopped wrestling full time for WWE in 2010, before becoming a manager/valet. Maryse was a former two-time WWE Divas Champion and joining the cast of Total Divas for the upcoming sixth season.
