NWA has announced a high-stakes match for the February 7 episode of NWA Powerrr.
During the live episode of the show on January 31, Matt Cardona and Tyrus signed the contract for their title match. Tyrus eagerly put pen to paper, as he stated that he knows he's not the undisputed world champion, and he wants to put the matter to rest at NWA Nuff Said. Cardona, the former champion, had to relinquish the gold due to an injury at NWA Alwayz Ready 2022. Tyrus then pinned Trevor Murdoch in a three-way match that included Cardona to win the gold at NWA Hard Times 3.
Cardona responded by making it clear that he wanted to be able to name the stipulation for his title match with Tyrus. They agreed to face off in a six-man tag team match, where they would both choose two partners, and the winner would earn the right to name the stipulation for their bout at NWA Nuff Said. Cardona named the February 7 episode of NWA Powerr as the time and place, as he wasn't ready yet on Tuesday night.
