Matt Cardona: F*ck You Matt Hardy, Matt Possibly Re-Tore My Pec When He Hit Me With A Twist Of Fate

Matt Cardona had a rough night.

GCW Now And Forever started out well for Matt Cardona, as he announced that he would be making his return to the ring at GCW Homenight Night Two. The event will mark Cardona's first match since April, as he suffered a torn pec at Reality of Wrestling Pay Up on April 13th.

Cardona then got involved in the main event match between Matt Hardy and Nick Gage. He tried to convince Hardy to cancel the match, saying that he was too good for GCW, but Hardy turned him down. Cardona went on to interfere in the match, as he and Broski Jimmy interfered and attacked Gage and Hardy. Hardy floored Cardona with a Twist of Fate and issued the challenge for a tag team match at GCW Homecoming Night Two.

Cardona then posted a statement on Twitter/X. He said that he was trying to help Hardy, but he wound up getting viciously attacked instead. Caedona claimed that he possibly re-tore his surgically repaired pectoral muscle when Hardy hit him with a Twist of Fate. He wrote that he was taken to a local medical facility to see i the match could even happen. Cardona then expressed his frustration with Hardy, Gage, and the absent Steph De Lander.
