Matt Cardona has his sights set on Kanye West.
On May 14, Cardona responded to a viral picture of Kanye West wearing what appeared to be kickpads, which are popular in the independent wrestling world. Cardona joked that it seemed like West was after him, "The Indy God" himself. He playfully wrote that he heard West was running from him, and he told the controversial rapper not to be scared.
The story was picked up by XXL Magazine, and Cardona shared the article on Twitter along with a brief message.

Cardona, a former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion, remains active on the independent scene. He competes for GCW and AIW, among many other promotions.
