Matt Cardona talks about signing legends to Major Bendies.
Iconic toys from the '80s and '90s inspire Matt Cardona and Brian Myers's Major Bendies toy line. As such, names like Jeff Jarrett, Randy Savage, and Demolition have been allowed to be re-immortalized with new action figures. However, Myers and Cardona have also signed several names who are currently under WWE contract prior to them putting pen to paper with WWE.
In an interview with ScottVsBox at the New York Toy Fair, Matt Cardona discussed the legalities of not being able to sign those under Legends deals and revealed that they tried to sign Jesse Ventura before his WWE return in 2024.
"If they have a Legends deal or an AEW deal, we can't make them. Luckily, we've signed some people before they signed... We tried [to sign Jesse Ventura], actually, but no, and he just saw the legends deal. So, okay, can't make it. We did try."
