Matt Cardona is only open for business on Wednesdays.
Cardona is currently on one of the hottest runs in his career, competing in nearly every major independent wrestling promotion in the world. Throughout the first eight months of 2023, Cardona has already wrestled in 52 matches in a number of countries throughout the world.
In a recent interview with WrestleZone, Cardona talked about his busy schedule and said that it is filled for the rest of the year.
“For me, scheduling-wise, it’s the busiest I’ve ever been. My calendar is completely full for the rest of the year. People email me all the time. Guys, I’m booked. What do you want for 2024? Because I got nothing. I legit have nothing for 2023. I couldn’t get booked on another show if I wanted to. Unless it was like a Wednesday night show or something like that [laughs]. I’m booked Friday, Saturday, Sunday, whether it be with the podcast or indie bookings or conventions or autograph signings. It’s a good problem to have. But if people are booking and they’re not long-term booking, I can’t do their shows."
When Bill Pritchard brought up the fact that Dynamite runs on Wednesdays, Cardona joked that the company has his number.
“Hey, I mean, they have my number. But I can only do Wednesday. I can’t do Saturday, pal."
Elsewhere in the interview, Cardona said that his 'Life On The Ropes' show won't be happening. Fans can learn more here.
