Matt Hardy praises The Bar (Claudio "Cesaro" Castagnoli and Sheamus).
During their return run in 2017, Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy feuded with The Bar's Cesaro and Sheamus. The Bar was a part of the return match for the Hardy Boyz, a Fatal 4-Way Ladder Match at WrestleMania 33. Overall, between TV events, house shows, and pay-per-views, they would share the ring 53 times. This would include Steel Cage Matches, Iron Man Matches, and more.
On the latest episode of The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Matt praised the duo, calling them an excellent act for those who like hard-hitting wrestling.
"Yeah, they were good, especially [for] people that like very hard-hitting wrestling. This team was a team that they would love because they were both very hard-hitting, both great wrestlers, very much go go go. They were ass beaters. You knew that when you were in the ring with them, there was no asking questions about it, these guys were gonna go hard if you were in the ring with them.”
Sheamus has remained with WWE since debuting with the promotion but Cesaro is currently wrestling as Claudio Castagnoli in AEW.
Today, Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy are the TNA Wrestling World Tag Team Champions. They hope to go into the WWE Hall of Fame soon. Fans can read Matt's comments on that here.
