The Hardys are ready to take on Fraxiom.
Tuesday's edition of WWE NXT, appropriately titled NXT Roadblock, will feature a tag team bout for the TNA World Tag Team Championships, as The Hardys will put up the titles against the Fraxiom duo of Nathan Frazer and Axiom.
Speaking on the latest episode of his The Extreme Life Of Matt Hardy podcast, Matt Hardy commented on the upcoming matchup, saying that he expects fans in New York City to show lots of love to The Hardys.
“It’s going to be really interesting. I mean, I’ve often said in the past, sometimes when you get in the northeast, it’s a little tougher because the crowds are so smart and educated. I just feel like New York and the Hardys are such a tight connection, the Garden was always so good to us. Sometimes they could be tough, especially if they didn’t like what they were getting or whatever, but I got a feeling that they’re going to be showing lots of love next week in New York City for Matt and Jeff Hardy, which were excited about.”
Hardy went on and praised Fraxiom for being a duo of young guys that still have that hunger in their eyes.
“Fraxiom, they are such a great team. They kind of came together accidentally it seems in many ways, they were two guys who were paired together, they weren’t meant to be a tag team, this was not the long-term plan. They’re both two really good guys, both extremely talented, extremely athletic. Obviously, young guys that are hungry in the prime, they have that hunger in their eye, they want to do everything they can do. I know this match to them is a big deal as it is to most people who were a generation behind us and grew up watching us and saw us doing stuff when we were creating the whole ladder match, table match, TLC environment. All those guys now, getting a chance to work with us, it’s really neat and it’s really cool.”
Elsewhere in then interview, Hardy praised NXT's Myles Borne and Tavion Heights. Check out his full comments by clicking here.
