Many fans have been calling for a rematch between both teams, possibly with the NXT Tag Team Championships on the line instead.

While chatting with Jon Alba on the latest edition of his The Extreme Life Of Matt Hardy podcast, Matt Hardy praised Fraxiom in many ways, saying that they have good instincts and speed.

“I think they have really good instincts for being younger guys. They are both so fast. I mean, Jeff and I, we said that in our post-show promos because WWE interviewed us specifically for one and then there was a social media camera, we did a couple promos. That’s one thing we both said over and over, just their speed when they ran out and did those dives was just jaw-dropping, it was explosive. Those guys moved really really fast, every time they moved in the ring they were fast. I think that was part of the lore of the whole match as well because there were times where they were faster than us. There were a couple times where we caught them or we tried to pick them off, but that was a big part of our story as well, those guys were obviously faster. We were the young fast guys back in the day and the acolytes had to catch us and shut us down, now we had to catch them and try to shut them down. I like Fraxiom, it was our first time touching and considering that was our first time getting in the ring and wrestling a match, I was really really happy with it. I thought it was solid all the way through and I thought it was a hell of a first match to have.”

Alba proceeded to ask Hardy to talk about what Fraxiom brought out of The Hardys.

“I don’t know if they necessarily brought something out of us that other people do in a match, I mean we definitely have both of our moods and our auras and our stuff we’re gonna do and the way we work. Mine’s sometimes a little more aggressive, Jeff is just such a charismatic enigma in so many ways, an anomaly and he does his thing obviously. They were really good at understanding — I love the fact that we worked holds in there and we gave the crowd a chance to breathe. I would come up and those guys would understand how to get back down and get to it. There was like constant movement, we didn’t do anything where we just sat there for a while, there was constant movement, even though it wasn’t always going crazy and doing high spots. I thought it was strongly put together and I love that afterwards, the vet vets were super complimentary of the match and enjoyed it, which was so cool.”

Elsewhere in the podcast, Hardy revealed that The Hardys have future plans with WWE. Check out his full comments by clicking here.
