Matt Hardy On His AEW Contract Status: We're Still Conversing, Figuring Out What's Going On

Matt Hardy says the negotiations are ongoing.

Matt Hardy has been with AEW since March 2020. During his time with the company, he has formed the Hardy Family Office, joined The Firm, and reunited with his brother, Jeff Hardy. He has also worked with Private Party (Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen) and competed as a singles wrestler. Fightful Select recently reported that Matt Hardy's contract is coming up in March, and he subsequently confirmed the news.

Speaking on The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, the veteran was asked whether he had anything he wanted to say about his contract status.

“Nothing really new. No updates to be given. Just still conversing, still in the midst of negotiation, figuring out what’s going on. So no real updates on that, but thank you guys for asking and giving a shit," Hardy said.
