The numbers don't lie and the people love AEW.
After Matt's spat with Jim Cornette on social media over the realism of things in AEW, all seemed to be quiet (for now) on the Cornette and AEW front.
Until a fan jumped into the conversation five days later to say, "Teleportation, ridiculous promos on drones, morphing, changing clothes ice machines.. it’s silly & stupid."
Hardy responded, by showing the numbers from Wednesday night, which had AEW Dynamite at the top of the cable ratings in the 18 to 49 demographic.
People love @AEW, dumbass. #AEWDynamite WAS THE #1 TV SHOW ON CABLE THIS WEEK!

I know you CAnon bootlickers have to follow archaic beliefs & spew these things, which happened over a year ago.
AEW is here to stay. Let a friend know via telegram/rotary phone & spread the word! https://t.co/lIieBNx3At pic.twitter.com/K7oxzpKu2D
Tony Khan was critical of the teleportation segment involving Hardy following his debut, saying he wishes they didn't do it and that it was poorly executed. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
Hardy himself was critical, saying Broken Matt didn't work as well without an audience. You can find his comments by clicking here.
