Matt Hardy Praises The Potential Of Wardlow, The Lucha Bros, And More Of AEW's Young Stars

Matt Hardy comments on the potential of some of AEW's brightest talents.

Matt Hardy has been in the wrestling business for almost all of his adult life, and in that time, he has continued to grow and evolve. As such, Hardy has developed an eye for spotting potential and knowing what wrestlers have yet to hit their ceiling.

On a special Q&A episode of The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Hardy was asked about what wrestlers in All Elite Wrestling he believes have the potential to become even greater stars. The first name that came to mind for V1 is Wardlow.

"Someone that I think is still going to be a big deal is Wardlow. That's one person that first stands out to me," said Matt. "I still think both the Lucha Bros -- I think both of those guys can do a lot of stuff as singles as well. You know, they're set as a tag team, but I think both of those guys are so talented. I think they're both talented in very different ways, too. I think they're very different from one another. In a lot of ways, they remind me of myself and Jeff. With obviously, Penta being me, and Fenix being Jeff. Those are two guys, I think will be single stars when it's all said and done, especially if they can stay healthy."

Matt Hardy also agreed when Jon Alba brought up the name of Daniel Garcia and Matt would go on to sing the praises of Sammy Guevara, even though he acknowledged that, much like Wardlow, the "Spanish God" has already reached a certain level of stardom.

"Sammy G, once again, like Wardlow, I think he's been able to obtain a little relevancy. But I do think he's going to go further as well," Matt said.

Wardlow once opened up about wanting to team with the Hardy Boyz as part of a trio. Read Matt thoughts on that idea here.
