Matt Hardy believes The Hurt Syndicate can be an important part of AEW television.
On this past week's special Fright Night AEW Dynamite, Swerve Strickland defeated Shelton Benjamin in singles competition. Following the result, MVP would make a call at ringside. Bobby Lashley would then make his All Elite Wrestling debut, attacking Strickland along with Benjamin before MVP announced that The Hurt Syndicate was back in business.
On the latest episode of The Extreme Life Of Matt Hardy, Matt discussed The Hurt Syndicate's debut, noting that he feels like the trio can become a pivotal part of AEW television.
“It’s going to be interesting. I think there can definitely be some equity in MVP, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin together. I think those three can be a force and I think they can be a very important part of AEW television, they can be a cornerstone or a building block towards helping build the future.”
The segment quickly drew attention on social media and on YouTube. You can read more about that here.
