Matt Riddle wanted a fight with Killian Dain and he got one.
Before the NXT North American title match at NXT TakeOver: Toronto got underway, Riddle stormed the ring and called out Dain to fight. Riddle immediately saw Dain from ringside and the two brawled all over the arena. The two wrestlers even had their skirmish on the entrance ramp and they eventually jumped off the stage, going through a couple of tables.

The two were originally scheduled to have a match on a recent episode of NXT, but Dain blindsided Riddle, attacking him before the match even started. The two never had their match after Dain's attack on Riddle.
