Prior to the NXT TV tapings last night at Full Sail, former EVOLVE Champion Matt Riddle sent out a tweet noting that he last wrestled in August at Joey Janela's 'Lost In New York' show and was looking forward to getting back into the ring and making his NXT debut.
It turns out that Riddle did make his NXT debut but instead of at the tapings, Riddle made a special appearance at tonight's NXT house show in Sanford, Florida. The master of the "Bromission" stepped from behind the curtain to a thunderous reaction and went one-on-one with NXT's rising star Fabian Aichner.
Matt Riddle went toe-to-toe with Aichner and the match concluded with Riddle executing his signature powerbomb to knee-strike combination to pick up his first official win in NXT.
