Matt Riddle's dream match in WWE is one against Brock Lesnar, but he took some time to talk about the man that defeated Lesnar at WrestleMania this year.
In an interview with The Battleground podcast, Riddle discussed Rollins and a recent interview Rollins had on The Bump. When asked about an NXT Championship title match between Adam Cole and Riddle that took place recently, Rollins sided with Cole and said the former UFC fighter sucks. Riddle responded to those comments and noted how its funny that Rollins wants to have a match with him.
"I think he wants attention, but that's cool bro. He went after Sasha and deleted his Twitter account. I don't really mind. My fans are really nice so they're not going to go out and threaten him. I think's friends with Cole and I think that was mostly it. It's funny because he's said he wanted a match with me before. He said all that and I was like, 'All right, nevermind. I guess I'm not that cool,'" Riddle said.
Riddle was then asked about a potential match against Rollins and although Riddle didn't comment about it, he did say he would beat Lesnar in a cleaner fashion than Rollins did. Rollins defeated Lesnar to win the Universal title at WrestleMania 35.
"I'll tell you this. If I beat Brock Lesnar, I'm not going to have to hit him in the balls and stomp him in the head three times. I'll beat him for real. I don't need to cheat," Riddle said.
